Gadolinium-DTPA—enhanced T1-weighted MR images. Left: Axial image obtained at C4–5. Tumors A, B, and C severely compress the spinal cord. Center: Coronal image. The extraforaminal component of Tumor A was heterogeneously enhanced and had undergone intratumoral cyst formation. Right: Sagittal image. Tumors B and C were enhanced homogeneously and exhibited a dural tail sign. Tumor D was a well-circumscribed mass that enhanced heterogeneously.
