Neurosurgical Focus: Video
Neurosurgical Focus: Video (Focus: Video): This video journal was first published in 2012 as a twice-yearly video supplement to Neurosurgical Focus. In July 2019, it became an independent quarterly journal under its new name, Neurosurgical Focus: Video. Neurosurgical Focus: Video is an open-access, online-only, video-based journal that presents high-definition videos of neurosurgery-related procedures, creating a unique educational experience that makes viewers feel present in the operating room. Each issue covers a different topic in the field, and submissions are reviewed by experts on each topic. Continuing medical education (CME) credits are offered for each issue on selected articles. The Editors and Editorial Boards encourage submissions that are relevant to the selected topics described in the Call for Videos.

Peer Review Process
All submissions are processed and sent out for non-blinded, consecutive peer review. Topic editors are vetted by the Editor-in-Chief (EIC). The EIC and/or Associate Editor reviews all manuscripts and reviewer comments before making final decisions regarding publication.
In accordance with ICMJE recommendations, the journal requires editorial board members to recuse themselves from the review process if they hold conflicts of interest or relationships that pose potential conflicts related to any articles under their direct consideration. Open Access/Fees
Neurosurgical Focus: Video is an online-only, open-access journal that is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license (see http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/).
Authors are free to deposit a copy of their paper to an institutional or other repository. We recommend and prefer the final published PDF be used to avoid the existence of multiple versions.
The JNSPG does not charge a submission fee or publication fees for Neurosurgical Focus: Video; however, there are enhancements that do carry a charge including:
